Width × height of one label
A 50 × 25 mm label has an individual die-cut face 50 mm across the web and 25 mm along the feed direction. The nominal size does not represent the total liner width.
What is an “up”?
One-up means one label across the web; two-up means two labels side by side; three-up means three labels. Two 50 mm-wide labels across generally require more than 100 mm of total web width once gaps and side margins are included.
Why printer capability matters
A printer with a 100 mm maximum media width may not accept a 2-up roll containing two 50 mm-wide labels. Verify media width and printable width separately, along with the sensor configuration.
